Viewing grades and assignment feedback in Blackboard

Steps-to-Take:

1. To go to MyGrades you'll want to click the arrow next to your name in the upper right corner. Then click on the MyGrades button, it looks like a piece of paper with check mark and a plus.

2. The My Grades page will display the assignments in your course. Your instructor may have only a portion of the assignments available at the beginning of the  semester.

3. Click once on the bold underlined score. You will be directed to the View Attempts screen. Here, you can check your right or wrong answers with correct answers.

4. Your instructor may also provide feedback in the comments section of the My Grades page. Instructor feedback may be written directly in the comments section or provided via an attached document. Click on View Description of your grade to open them and pop up should appear with teacher’s feedback.

5. Instructor feedback may also be delivered using rubrics that are available through the My Grades page in Blackboard. Click to View Rubric. You will be directed to the Rubric Detail screen. Look for feedback on each graded area and/or overall feedback at the bottom of the page.

6. Instructor feedback may also be sent to you via e-mail or through interactions with you directly on discussion boards, collaborative boards, blogs ,wikis ,journals ,etc. Check your course syllabus for specific information on where to find your feedback.

The My Grades page will also calculate your final course grade. You can find this information at the top of the page.

Instructors may have Blackboard calculate your course grade using a common system of averaging each of your assignment/test grades or instructors may use a weighted system where each assignment/test has a multiplier. Check your course syllabus for specific information on how your final course grade will be calculated.
