1. Go to our main website http://cwi.edu, find Current Students, and click on 'Writing Center’ under Services.
2. You should see four main options, the first on the left is to schedule a writing appointment, click on it. You can also click on “Make a Tutoring Appointment”
3. If this is your first time or if you are not logged in, click on Login/Sign Up for an account at the top right corner of the website.
If you already have an account, click on the TMS option to login and enter your student email address and your password to log in. If you need to create a new account, click on “Sign up for a new account”.
4. Click on “Find a Tutor” and if under the left side filter does not say College of Western Idaho, input it the text box under “School” to find tutors at CWI. You can also filter tutors by Subject, Course number, Availability, etc.
5. You can view more information about a tutor, such as their availability, if you click on “View Tutor” by their profile.
6. On this page, you can view more information about the tutor such as subjects they tutor in, their experience and credentials, spoken language, etc. If you scroll down further, you will see their schedule and availability.
7. If you want to schedule an appointment or send a message to the tutor, click “Book Now” or below that, “Book or Message ‘tutornamehere’”.
8. From here, you can see what kind of appointment you can book, online or in person as well as send a message to the tutor directly.
9. After you select a time, you can continue to the checkout page by clicking on “Go to Checkout and Book” (see next page)
10. Lastly, you will see the time you wish to book with the tutor on the calendar as well as an option to “Book Tutor”.
NOTE: CWI’s tutors are free. If the tutor’s fee is NOT showing up as $0.00, make sure you verify your CWI school email address by clicking on the CLICK HERE above the “Book Tutor” button.
