There are multiple ways to embed YouTube videos. If you are having problems embedding videos in Blackboard you may want to use this method.
1. Find the YouTube video that you would like to embed.
2. Click on ‘Share’ and then ‘Embed’.
3. Click on copy and the HTML code will be copied to your clipboard.
4. Go to where the video needs to be embedded; Discussion Board, Assignment submission, etc.
5. Make sure the formatting bar is expanded.
6. Click on the < > icon (if you hover over the button, it will say “Source Code”)
7. Press Ctrl+V to paste HTML code into the Source Code box and click on ‘Save’.
8. Your post should now look like this
9. After clicking submit this is how the post should now look.
