Purpose
To provide clear and concise instructions for manually configuring a new email account in Microsoft Outlook using the Mail settings within the Windows Control Panel. This process ensures proper account setup, particularly for users with specialized credentials such as Work Study accounts.
Process
1. In the search box in the lower-left corner of the screen, type Control Panel and open it.
2. Select User Accounts.

3.Select Mail (32-bit).

4. Click E-Mail Accounts in the upper right corner.

5. In the Account Settings window, click New.

6. Enter the account information, click Next, and follow the prompts to complete setup.
a. If using a special account (such as a Work Study account), enter the WS username and password. Otherwise, use your standard credentials.
