Creating and Submitting A VoiceThread

This is a basic walkthrough guide on how to submit assignments using VoiceThread.

Steps-to-Take:

Step 1. Navigate to your course and click on the VoiceThread assignment your instructor has set up. If you have already created the VoiceThread and you want to submit, you can select it from a list on the left and then click ‘Submit Assignment’ on the right. You will need to click the ‘share with class’ button if your classmates need to see your submission.

Step 2: If you don’t already have a VoiceThread created you’ll need to click on ‘Create new VoiceThread’ at the top.

Step 3:  Click ‘Add Media’ and add all of your slides to your VoiceThread. You can repeat this process as many times as you need. You’ll see a pop-up window asking you to title your VoiceThread. Give it a title, and use the other tabs in that window to adjust your playback settings and thumbnail image, as well.

Step 4. Click ‘comment’ at the top of the page and record your comments. Close the VoiceThread when you’re done. Click on ‘Submit Assignment’ at the top of the page, then confirm by clicking ‘Submit Assignment’ again on the pop-up. Again, be sure to check the box that says ‘share with class’ before submitting if other students need to be able to see your VoiceThread.
