Purpose
The purpose of this document is to equip College of Western Idaho (CWI) students with practical, self-service tools and guidance to effectively navigate and resolve common questions or issues related to Canvas, CWI’s learning management system. By using this resource, students can quickly find answers, improve their familiarity with the platform, and enhance their overall learning experience with greater independence and confidence.
Process
1. Login to the Canvas student Dashboard.
2. Once logged in, navigate to the Help button.
3. Select Search the Canvas Guides.
4. Select Canvas LMS
5. Select Ask A Question or select the Student icon. This will provide the best search results for Student issues.
The Canvas Student Guide is broken into multiple sections for ease of use.
