Instructions for configuring CWI email and calendar on an iPhone using Microsoft Exchange.

This process provides instructions for configuring a CWI Microsoft Exchange email account on an iPhone using Apple's built-in Mail app. Following these steps ensures your account is connected through CWI's Microsoft 365 authentication system, supports multi-factor authentication (MFA), and securely synchronizes email, calendar, contacts, and other selected services with your device.

 

Process

1. Open Settings on your iPhone. Look up Mail Accounts.

 

2. Tap Mail Accounts, then tap Add Account.​​​​​

 

 

3. Enter your full CWI email address.

 

 

4. Select Microsoft Exchange.( Do not choose Outlook.com, as these bypass CWI's single sign-on system.)

 

5.When prompted to "Sign in to your cwi.edu Exchange account using Microsoft?", tap Sign In.

 

Enter your CWI password and approve the Microsoft Authenticator prompt.

1. Toggle ON the apps you want to sync with your iPhone.

2. Tap Save in the top-right corner.
