Summary
Microsoft offers Office 365 applications (newly renamed Microsoft 365) free to CWI students. The best/easiest way is to download these apps through your student email. Downloading it from the Microsoft website can cause problems because CWI has a “.edu” email address. If you have problems with Microsoft 365 products after or during downloading, you may need to contact Microsoft at 1-877-696-7786.

Steps-to-Take:
1. Start on the computer where you want to install Office.
2. Log into your student email at mail.cwi.edu.
3. Click on the nine dots on the top left corner of the screen.
4. Click on the “Microsoft 365” link in the upper-right portion of the window.
5. You will be redirected to a new window. Select “Install Apps” on the top right corner of the page.
6. Select Microsoft 365 apps from the drop down menu.
7. An executable file (OfficeSetup.exe) should automatically begin downloading. Follow the pop-up instructions from Microsoft.
