Everyone - How to Disassociate CWI Account From Computer

This FAQ will go over how to remove a device from the CWI domain. You may need to do this if you do not wish to have CWI's policies/settings enforced on your personal computer, you are getting rid of a device, or the device has been lost/stolen.

Steps-to-Take Method, 1:
- Open a browser like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and go to the URL: MyAccount.Microsoft.com.
- Sign in to your account
- Note: Use your CWI Credentials to log in. If you do not know these, you will need to call the Help Desk (208-562-3444)


- Select Devices from the left navigation pane or select the Manage devices link from the Devices block.

- Review the information for your connected devices, making sure you recognize them all.

- You can disable any of your connected devices at any time. This is especially important if a device is not familiar to you or if a device is lost or stolen or if you no longer wish for your organization to control your device.
- After you disable a device, it can no longer be authenticated by your organization, and will be unable to access any of your organization's resources.
- Select Disable for the device(s) you want to remove and disassociate.
Steps-to-take, Method 2:
- Type “Access Work or School” in the Windows Search Box (Lower left corner of screen)

- When the window opens, find your school account, click on it then click on “Manage your account”.

- Follow from step 3 of Method 1 above.
