Taking a Test in Blackboard and the Browser Crashes

Details: Instructors will have pre-defined parameters for how they administer their tests. They can make the
tests available during certain hours of the day, all day or over multiple days. Instructors can also reset tests if
something goes wrong or if the window was missed to take the test. This is entirely up to the discretion of the
instructor.

Steps-to-Take:

1. Contact your instructor. Only your instructor can re-open the test for you. Their contact information
should be on the class syllabus.

Notes:

1. For future test taking; if possible, save each answer as you go along.
2. If possible; make sure you only have your Blackboard window. Close all other windows or tabs.

3. If possible, try not to take your tests via a WI-FI connection since it is more problematic with weak or
dropped signals. A wired connection is preferred.
