Everyone - Office 365 Installation for Mac

Steps-to-Take:

1. In a web browser on your Mac OS device (Chrome or Firefox is preferred), navigate tohttps://portal.office.com/OLS/MySoftware.aspx and sign into your CWI account.

 

2. You should be on the ‘Apps & Devices’ page. You will see a button labeled 'Install Office.’ Clicking that will download the latest installer package. Below that button is a link for older Mac OS versions.

3. Once the download has completed, open Finder, go to Downloads, and double-click the Microsoft Office installer package (the name might vary slightly).

4. On the first installation screen, select Continue to begin the installation process.

5. Review the software license agreement, and then click Continue.

 

6. Choose how you want to install Office and clickContinue.

 

7. Review the disk space requirements or change your install location, and then clickInstall.

 

8. Enter your Mac login password, if prompted, and then click Install Software. (This is the password that you use to log into your Mac.)

9. The software begins to install. Click Close when the installation is finished. If Office installation fails, see What to try if you can't install or activate Office 2016 for Mac using Office 365 for business.

10. Launch one of the now installed Microsoft Office Desktop Apps, such as Microsoft Word.

 

11. The What's New window opens automatically when you launch Word. Click Get Started to start activating. If you need help activating Office, seeActivate Office 2016 for Mac. 12. You must sign in using your CWI credentials to activate the Microsoft Office applications before you will be able to use them for the first time. This is only necessary for the first application you open. You must also be connected to the Internet while doing this. Use your full CWI email address and password.
