How to Request & Process Admin by Request Sessions

Steps-to-Take:
Locate Admin by Request in your Taskbar/Taskbar Manager
Click on the icon (highlighted) then click on “
Request Administrator Access
”.
A window with an Admin error message will appear.
Click "
Yes
"
Take note of “
PIN 1
”.
Relay “
PIN 1
” to the Technical Support Specialist (TSS) working on your request (usually via ticket or phone or IM etc).
The TSS will take “
PIN1
” and use it to generate “
PIN2
”
Once the TSS generates “
PIN2
”, they will pass “
PIN2
” to you via the ticket or phone or IM etc.
Enter “
PIN2
” generated by the TSS in the appropriate box (see above).
If all goes well, a window will pop up stating the time given to allow you to enter your employee credentials as a temporary Admin and for the updates to complete their installations.
NOTE:
The session will continue through reboots. Also, the session may be ended early by clicking on the “Finish” Button which will give the option to end the session early or to keep the session open until the time expires (see below).
