Note: You will need to visit the Google Play Store first to download the Microsoft Outlook first, before proceeding with the steps below.
3. The CWI authentication page opens. Enter your full email address and password:
4. The app will ask if you want to add another account:
5. And will go through a small virtual tour or you may opt to skip it:
6. You should now have access to your email account including:
- Email folders (Inbox, Sent etc.)
- Compose Email button
- Search Email button (highlighted green)
- Calendar button (highlighted blue)
If you wish to remove an account from your Outlook app:
1. Click on the three horizontal bars on the upper left side of the main email window:
2. In the lower left corner, you will see a gear symbol/icon. Tap on it:
3. Locate the account you wish to remove/delete and tap to select:
4. When the account is selected, you will see the delete option appear below. Tap to delete the account.
How to sync an account:
Note: there may be situations where you will need to re-sync your email account in the Outlook app on your Android device. This may occur because you had to change your CWI password due to expiration etc. There are a couple of options…
1. There is a Reset Account button just above the Delete Account button. You can try this first but if this does not succeed, then…
2. Deletion of the account is in order. Once deleted, you will need to re-add the account.
3. Optionally; if only for a password update and you have the time; eventually Outlook will display that the app needs its password updated. It will then allow you to update the password “on the fly”.
