Personal E-mail
Your personal e-mail account is an account that you set up outside of CWI and is completely unattached to the school. Examples of personal e-mail accounts include @gmail.com and @msn.com addresses. CWI does not communicate with your personal e-mail account once you have registered.
Student E-mail
Your student e-mail account is the account that you set up at CWI and is supported by Microsoft through outlook website. It ends in @my.cwi.edu and is unrelated to any existing Live, MSN, or Hotmail account you may already have.
Your instructors and the college will only communicate with you with this address after you have registered. Once you login, your student e-mail opens in the Outlook Web App.
myCWI
myCWI (http://my.cwi.edu) is a site only accessible by students, faculty, and employees at CWI. You use this site to register for classes, check your financial aid, and other student-account related issues.
The CWI Homepage
The CWI Homepage (http://www.cwi.edu) is a public website for the College of Western Idaho. It has program descriptions, contacts, news, and other information.
Blackboard
Blackboard (http://blackboard.cwi.edu) the online learning platform for classes at CWI. You will use Blackboard to see your class schedule, syllabus, and grades, regardless if you are an online student or not.
