Everyone - How to Set Up Your Multifactor Authentication Method (MFA)

Purpose

The purpose of this guide is to walk users through setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when accessing their CWI Outlook account for the first time. This process is essential for securing account access and must be completed before full use of Outlook and other Microsoft services is available.

Important Notes:

  • These instructions apply only if MFA has not already been configured for the account.

  • Users must know their CWI credentials (email and password).

  • If MFA is already set up or credentials are unknown, please contact the CWI IT Help Desk at 208-562-3444 for assistance.
